Rock Hill native, Christi graduated Magna Cum Laude from the
Honors College of the University of South Carolina with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 1996. She graduated
with honors from the University of South Carolina School of
Law in 2002, and is a member of the Order of the Wig and Robe
and Order of the Coif honor societies.
Christi formerly practiced with Kennedy Covington Lobdell
& Hickman in Charlotte, N.C., where she advised and represented
employers and businesses in employment law and general commercial
law matters. In August 2004, Christi returned to Rock Hill,
South Carolina to help form Hamilton Martens Ballou &
Sipe, LLC. Christi continues to focus her practice in employment
law and general commercial litigation and has expanded her
practice to include representation of individual employees
in discrimination claims as well as individuals involved in
serious personal injury accidents.
Christi is a member of the York County Bar Association, the
South Carolina Bar, and the American Bar Association and is
admitted to practice in state and federal court. She practices
