Dan
has practiced law since 1991, and has a wide variety of experience
in commercial litigation, real estate and land use disputes
as well as administrative and regulatory controversies. He
previously practiced with Kennedy Covington Lobdell &
Hickman, LLP in Rock Hill from 1993-2004 and has represented
clients in state and federal courts, as well as before a variety
of regulatory agencies and local governments.
Dan graduated from Princeton University in 1987 with an undergraduate
degree in history, and from the University of South Carolina
School of Law in 1991. He is a member of the South Carolina
Bar and the State Bar of Texas, where he practiced from 1991-93.
He has served on the board of numerous civic organizations,
including Pilgrims' Inn and Keystone Substance Abuse Services
of York County, and is an active member of the York County
Regional Chamber of Commerce. Dan is a past president of the
York County Bar Association and is a member of the South Carolina
Bar Association and the South Carolina Administrative and
Regulatory Law Association. From 1999-2004, he served as a
member of the South Carolina Real Estate Commission, by appointment
of Governor Jim Hodges.
